2024 apple festival
10/26/2024. I don't think we've had better weather for this year's Apply Festival in Sayville. As one of the major community fair/festival on the South Shore, Long Islanders were abound supporting the local vendor's and non-profits and enjoying some fall treats, and yes, Apples, on this beautiful day. Thanks to all of our members, many not pictured here, for their support in the transport, set up, and time they put in during the festival. As an all-Volunteer non-profit we are only around due to the work of our members and the support of our community. Thank you to all

2024 annual detachment family day bbq
8/17/2023. With the weather holding out for us this year, we had a nice and unseasonable cool afternoon/evening to enjoy some good food and company with this years annual family day BBQ. Special thanks to our members that supported us with set-up, cooking, and break down of the event. Also, a big thanks to everyone that showed up and had a good time with us.
Our family has served with us throughout our careers and no service member truly serves alone.
We know not everyone can make it to every event especially during our busy summer vacation season, don't forget we are open every Friday evening. Come on down, we look forward to seeing you.

A special thanks to him, and the entire crew of the Bay Princess out of Captree. The Sun was out, but not the heat. We didn't catch too many 'keepers' but we did have a great time with our families and veterans... Don't worry, we threw back the shark!

He is always tending bar, helping with clean ups, volunteers for every single event and always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone. And let us not forgot his infinite expanse of knowledge that he will share with you about any topic... we do mean any topic. Thanks again to our Chaplain and congratulations to Frank! |

All donations made are matched by private donors. All the money raised go to local Veterans Organizations. If you can't make the run, you still can donate to the fund. |

As well as speaking to the High School students, we were invited to speak to the 5th graders at Sherwood Elementary. (small feature in South Bay's Neighbor newspaper) |
